Description

This fly imitates a large shad or other baitfish such as a Gizzard Shad or a Blueback Herring.  It is tied on a wire harness (see pictures) with 2 thick-wire Gamakatsu or Owner tarpon hooks.  It can be tied in sizes from 7- to 12-inches, and features a Cohen’s Creatures minnow tail.  Easy to cast because the synthetic materials shed water much better/quicker than most natural materials.  Weight-balanced for easy casting.
